Shri K Sadashiv Murthy assumed the charge of Chairman & Managing Director on the Board of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), India’s largest Public Sector engineering and manufacturing enterprise w.e.f. 1st November, 2023.

Shri Asit Gopal, has been appointed as Part Time Official Director on the Board of BHEL w.e.f. 03.02.2026.

Shri Vijay Mittal was inducted as Part Time Official Director on the Board or BHEL w.e.f. 25.03.2022. He is presently posted as Joint Secretary in Ministry of Heavy Industries, (Government of India).

Shri Ramesh Patlya Mawaskar has been appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of BHEL w.e.f. 08.06.2023. He is a Commerce graduate from Amravati University and has also done M.A. (Public Admin.) from K.K.S.V.

Shri Tajinder Gupta was inducted as Director (Power) on the Board of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) w.e.f.

Ms. Bani Varma assumed charge as member on the board of BHEL as Director (IS&P) on the 9th of October 2023. 

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi is Director Finance and CFO of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). He is also the Chairman (Non-Executive) of BHEL-GE Gas Turbine Services Pvt. Ltd.

Shri S M Ramanathan is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from IIT Madras, with an M. Tech in Stress and Vibration Analysis and ICWA (Cost Accounts). He is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
